DIWrong: When a DIYers decides to take on more projects than reasonable in a day and pays the price once the adrenaline wears off. This can consist of muscle pain and/or a general lack of energy due to poor planning.
Case in point, I returned from a trip to IKEA today and assembled 4 items back to back (this included furniture). Did I ask for much help? No. Do I feel like I was run over by a truck? Yes. Do I regret it? I regret nothing.
Moving on from my lack of sense, I wanted to share a few Kickstarter campaigns that recently caught my attention:
- Raging Heroes’ Toughest Girls of the Galaxy is back with more figurines. There are just 10 days to go and they’ve already reached over $500,000 (with a goal of $30,000).
- The Tesla vs. Edison Strategy Game combines history with table top. Another campaign that’s greatly surpassed its goal. They wanted to raise $20,000 and are already over $160,000.
- The PancakeBot is a pancake printer. And it’s only $179 (the lower early bird levels are already sold out). Food and technology are always a cool combination.
