Meme Box Review #1: Dry Skin Value Set

FTC Disclaimer: I purchased these products with my money. I have not received any payment or incentives for this review, nor am I affiliated with the company in any way. All thoughts are my own.

So I am a complete Meme Box convert. I adore everything I’ve purchased so far and have a crazy-long wish list bookmarked on the site for the future. Since I’ve raved about my purchases on Instagram, I decided it was worthwhile to not just mentioned what I purchased, but why I like the products and what I’ve noticed in altering my skin care routine. This will be the first in a series of posts, so let’s get started.

Below is the quick unboxing video I put together when the package first arrived. The order included what will include my first three reviews (including today’s).

The products are as follows:

What is Meme Box?

Dry Skin Value Set Review

It’s Skin Hyaluronic Acid Toner

Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Toner

I had never heard of a moisture toner before this purchase. It’s pretty much as you’d expect–a toner that (instead of drying your skin out immediately) add moisture back in. You use it right after a cleanser and before a moisturizer/emulsion/face mist/etc. I like the clean scent and quick absorption.

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula YE Effector

It's Skin Power 10 Formula YE Effector

This effector contains yeast and is said to “improve texture and restore clarity”. Basically, it’s a moisturizer that has a somewhat sticky residue. I find that giving it an extra few minutes to absorb, followed by a quick face mist, usually does the trick.

Concluding Thoughts

This is definitely a fun addition to your skin care routine. I definitely prefer the toner to the YE Effector, but both have been quite interesting to test out. I use the toner two to three times a week and the other maybe once or twice. Since my skin care concerns have been focused more on keeping my skin moisturized, and not having heavy breakouts, I’ll keep focusing on that group of products. See you in the next post!
