It was a delight to see I was receiving another VoxBox for review. The YouTube preview of the Spice VoxBox was rather impressive to be in that it seemed liked most of the items included would be something I’d use. I think it’s safe to say that any time you receive unknown items, there will always be a “hit or miss” situation. Thankfully, this was a lot more “hit” than I was expecting.
Before we jump into the products I was able to review, I want to discuss how the package arrived. The box was easily the largest I’ve ever seen from Influenster. Outside of a few items, there’s not much internal packaging normally. Everything went positive outside of one item I wanted to make a suggestion on.
In the past, when a VoxBox has a package that is delicate (aka bag of chips), you receive a manufacturer’s coupon and go pick it up at the store. This box didn’t follow that strategy and one of my products received end up spilling over other items. It’s not the end of the world, but also not something you want to experience either.
So let’s talk specific items. Below you’ll find separate posts on each item received. Click on the links below to read more!
FTC Disclosure: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
Everyone knows I work in the nonprofit sector. And if you didn’t, now you do. I mention that fact because of how SoapBox works as a business. Here’s the description Influenster provided: SoapBox is a buy one-give one company. For every product sold, a bar of soap or month of clean water is given to a … Continue reading SoapBox Shampoo & Conditioner Review
I initially thought this would be one of those “not for me” products. I don’t put much in my hair outside of a handful of oils. However, I figured it wouldn’t harm anything. It smells like vanilla cupcakes. Seriously. And it’s fantastic! You just shake the container lightly, turn it upside down and push the button … Continue reading NYM Whip It Up Cream Styling Mousse Review
I’m a tea addict. I really could just end it there. But I won’t. Look at the glorious options. From the information Influenster provided me with, Yogi’s line of energy teas “includes 60 varieties of herbal, green and black teas rich in delicious flavor and healthful purpose”. Since teas are one of my three main … Continue reading Yogi Tea Review
Is there ever a time it’s not awesome to get food to review? Okay. Don’t answer that. It’s not important now. I grew up eating veggie straws as a kid. I was always strategic about them, too. Basically, everything put the potato flavors were eating. That way, it was like eating odd potato chips. The … Continue reading Good Health Veggie Straws Review
I’m always on the hunt for great skin care products. The goal is to find something natural as possible that also gives me quick results. Dry skin is always my biggest concern, so moisturizers are my top products to investigate. This day cream retails for $12.99 USD and can be found at Target or Boots … Continue reading Botanics Organic Hydrating Day Cream Review
I always say that a few parts of your body are worth splurging on when it comes to accessories of any kind. Your feet definitely fall into that category as far as I’m concerned. There was a possibility of getting one of two inserts and I’m so happy I received Give ’em the Boot. It’s … Continue reading Foot Petals Review
Sinful Colors is a nail brand I already buy quite often. Thankfully, this was not a color I already have. That would be great for the pocket-book, but defeats the chance of trying something new. Now, I’ve always had horrible experiences with gel polishes. Actually, make that all nail polishes. It’s simple really. I always … Continue reading SinfulColors SinfulShine Nail Polish Review
